In CBS47 TV Channel’s news broadcast in Fresno, California, the ethnic cleansing that took place in Artsakh a year ago was discussed. It was noted that last year, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale attack after keeping Artsakh under siege for nine months. Fresno-based professor Barlow Der Mugrdechian noted that these genocidal acts should concern not only Armenians, but everyone should know what is happening in the world. The report also quoted Congressman Adam Schiff as saying: “Azerbaijan’s continuous actions against the people of Artsakh have led to a humanitarian disaster and ethnic cleansing. We must be sure that all guilty parties will be brought to justice and all the people of Artsakh will be compensated for the huge losses they suffered.” Armenian young people living and studying in Fresno expressed hope that Artsakh Armenians will one day return to their Homeland and live in peace.
