Artashes Geghamyan, a politician, former member of the National Assembly, has died.
In a conversation with ABC media, the Hematology Center after Prof.R.H. Yeolyan confirmed the information.
Artashes Geghamyan was 75 years old. He founded and headed the National Unity Party in 1997.
He ran for president of the Republic of Armenia in 1998, 2003 and 2008.
He was a member of the National Assembly of different convocations.
