The meeting of foreign ministers in the “3+3” format (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia – Russia, Turkey, Iran) on the issue of the South Caucasus, planned in Turkey, is under development, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing held on the margins of the Fourth Eurasian Women’s Forum.
“I can say that such a meeting is being developed in Ankara,” Zakharova noted.
She also commented on the visit of high-ranking intelligence officials of the U.S. and U.K. to Baku, noting that they do not contribute to the stability and peace of the region. She said that the efforts of the Western countries are aimed at destabilizing countries neighboring Russia.
