Murad Papazyan: Macron and France do not support Pashinyan, but Armenia and the Armenian people

Pashinyan has the right to have his opinion, but he has no right to deceive the people, ARF Bureau member Murad Papazyan told reporters before the meeting of Holy Struggle in Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex.

“He has the right to have his opinion, but he has no right to deceive the people. They say that Pashinyan was elected twice by the people, but the cession of Artsakh was not mentioned in his pre-election program. He went to Stepanakert and said, “Artsakh is Armenia, period!” He sold the Armenian people the idea that we should make decisions together, we should gather in the square and make decisions together, but this did not happen,” Papazyan said.

He noted that before being elected, Pashinyan did not tell the Armenian people that he would open the borders, he did not say that he would give an important part of Armenia, such as the lands of Tavush, to Azerbaijan.

Talking about the fact that after such statements he might be refused entry into the Homeland again, Papazyan noted that he sued the National Security Service and won the case. “The issue was political, and I am free to express my opinions, no one can stop me,” he said.

Papazyan noted that French President Emmanuel Macron does not support Pashinyan’s regime, but Armenia, the state and the people, and the French-Armenian community has worked for decades to achieve this.

“In other words, if there were any other leader in Armenia today, France would have helped, because France and the French-Armenian community communicate and work for France to help Armenia. You have noticed that France remains committed to the realization of the right of return of the people of Artsakh. Nikol Pashinyan is not fighting for the return of the people of Artsakh, but France supports the state, the country, the people, and not the regime,” Papazyan noted.
