Azerbaijan has applied to host the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity in 2026, Azerbaijani Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev during the Climate Action Week in Baku. The 16th conference is planned to be held in Colombia in three weeks. The final decision on holding the 17th conference will be made there.
