Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced the need to strengthen cooperation between the EAEU and other associations. According to him, there are more and more areas of practical cooperation in the EAEU. At the same time, the union is open to all who are ready for a mutually beneficial and equal partnership.
Mishustin noted that effective cooperation with China continues. Free trade agreements with Vietnam, Iran, and Serbia are being implemented. This year, negotiations were held with Mongolia on the conclusion of a temporary trade agreement. Agreements are being developed with the UAE and Indonesia, while an active dialogue has been established with regional associations.
According to the Russian prime minister, all this will contribute to the increase of the EAEU’s role in the international arena, as well as to the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin to form the Greater Eurasian Partnership.
“We work together to realize the full potential of each participant of integration, create opportunities for economic growth and ensure fundamental freedoms, movement of goods and services, finance and human capital. The most important thing is to improve the well-being of our citizens,” the head of the Russian government said.
