Seven people were killed, and eight others were injured in a shooting and stabbing incident in Jaffa, Israel. According to Israeli police, this is one of the deadliest terror attacks in recent years. Two terrorists, one armed with a rifle and the other with a knife, attacked civilians.
After getting off the tram, they continued to chase people on the streets of Jerusalem, shooting and stabbing them. The city security officer and armed citizens shot and “neutralized” the two terrorists, the police said. The terrorists are Mehmed Khalaf Saher Rajab and Hassan Mohammed Hassan Tamimi, both Palestinians from Hebron.
The victims were taken to Wolfson Medical Center in Holon and Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv.
