Russia’s Foreign Ministry: The increase in financial aid provided by USAID to Armenia confirms the destabilizing nature of Western countries in Armenia and the region
The increase in financial aid provided to Armenia by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) confirms the destabilizing nature of Western countries both in Armenia and in the South Caucasus, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing.
“It is impossible not to see these tendencies in neighboring states and other countries of the world, where such experiments have already been carried out. This can be avoided by those who carry out a nationally oriented policy, who know history, who act in national interests, who are not just political PR practitioners, who are statesmen, and who care about their country and people,” Zakharova said.
Earlier, USAID decided to increase the financial aid to Armenia more than twice, making it $250 million from $120 million.
