Zelenskyy and NATO’s newly appointed secretary general discuss Ukraine’s battlefield needs
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy informed newly appointed NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Kyiv about the situation on the front, reminding him of the armament needs the Ukrainian army has, RIA Novosti reports.
“We discussed the current needs of our army, as well as the needs of Ukraine in air defense,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram.
He noted that the agreements reached between Ukraine and the alliance regarding air defense systems should be implemented ahead of winter.
To remind, on Oct. 3, Rutte arrived in Kyiv.
