Lavrov: Armenia is sabotaging the agreement signed by Pashinyan on communication links through Syunik province
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov referred to the visit of President Vladimir Putin to Baku and the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. He expressed his belief that the most important thing is to be in line with the series of tripartite agreements reached between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2020-2022. They include all aspects of the situation as well as the issues that must be resolved for a final and complete settlement.
“We are in favor of the early conclusion of the peace treaty and the unblocking of communications. Unfortunately, as far as communication links through the Syunik province of the Republic of Armenia are concerned, the Armenian leadership is sabotaging the agreement signed by Prime Minister N. Pashinyan. It is difficult to understand the meaning of such a stance. The foundation laid on the margins of the tripartite meetings and documents remains completely up-to-date,” Lavrov stated.
