Azerbaijan invited Armenia to COP29, Elnur Soltanov, the chief executive officer of COP29 Azerbaijan and the country’s deputy minister of Energy, said in an interview with a Turkish media outlet.
“We have the infrastructure to receive about 40,000 guests a day. Invitations have been sent to all the heads of state in the world. More than 50 heads of state and government have confirmed their participation. We expect this number to increase. Armenia has also been invited,” Soltanov said.
He noted that they will have more than 80 thousand guests who will arrive and leave the country on different days.
“We will lead the negotiations on the climate, and we will talk about the results of the country’s activities in this sphere,” Soltanov added.
