The Israeli Air Force carried out five strikes on the southern districts of Beirut, four of which were “very strong”, Al Arabiya said, referring to the official Lebanese media.
The strikes came after the Israeli army called for the evacuation of residents from areas it called Hezbollah strongholds.
Earlier, Lebanon said that air traffic continues at the only airport in Beirut, despite the Israeli attacks.
