After the meeting of the leaders of the CIS countries, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev did not answer the question about the possibility of reaching an agreement on a peace treaty with Armenia before the end of 2024.

“When we come to an agreement on everything,” the Azerbaijani president said in response to the question as to when the agreement will be signed.
In response to the question as to whether it is possible to agree on a reconciliation agreement before the end of this year, the politician shrugged his shoulders.
He also noted that the policy of Western sanctions has no right to exist, especially when it is illegal. The video was published on journalist Pavel Zarubin’s Telegram Channel.
“We are categorically against any sanctions, and we believe that the international community should express its position unitedly,” Aliyev said, adding, “When I accused them [the U.S.] of being ungrateful, I think that’s not the harshest word to use in this context.”
