National Security Service officers broke into John Kirakosyan School No. 20 and detained one of the school’s employees. The information was first published by Hayk Kostanyan, spokesperson for the mayor of Yerevan.
Later, the parent of one of the school’s students posted on Facebook that the National Security Service officers knocked the teacher to the ground before the eyes of the students, pulled his hair and arrested him. This information was also confirmed by the school staff in a conversation with ABC media.
“Yes, the teacher was arrested in front of the children with the use of force, we have seen it,” the school’s receptionist said.
The latter also noted that at the moment the school management is in the Investigative Committee with the employee.
Gor Abrahamyan, the press secretary for the chairman of the Investigative Committee, also said that a public criminal prosecution was brought against the school employee under the Clause 1 and Clause 3, Part 3 of Article 201 of the RA Criminal Code, that is, pornographic material or object by a person over 18, that including: distributing, displaying a printed publication, film or video material, material stored on an electronic media, image or other object of a pornographic nature among persons under 16 years of age, having sexual intercourse, undressing or performing other acts of a sexual nature in the presence of a person under 16 years of age, a conversation of a sexual nature with a person under 16 years of age or another act aimed at inducing a desire of a sexual nature in a person under the age of 16.
The perpetrator of this crime faces 3-6 years of imprisonment.
