5 murders in 4 days: Criminal drama unfolds in Kotayk

In recent days, Kotayk Province has resembled the scene of a criminal drama, with five murders occurring over just four days. Alarmingly, all suspects in these bloody incidents are reported to have mental health issues.

After a killing in the fields near Aramus, the perpetrator went on to murder two more people in the village of Zovashen, in the same province. He then took their vehicle and fled; the police later found him in another location.

A young man who stabbed a relative at a church in Charentsavan days ago was also reported to have mental health problems and had previously received inpatient treatment at a psychiatric center.
