Economy ministry says liquefied gas will be imported via Azerbaijan as an alternative
The shortage of liquefied gas in Armenia is due to Iran’s domestic political situation and the closure of the Verkhniy Lars border crossing, Economic Ministry Սpokesperson Lilit Shaboyan told ABC Media.
“Liquefied gas is supplied to Armenia through two routes. Since both are currently closed, we have chosen an alternative route. Soon, Russian liquefied gas will be imported to Armenia via Azerbaijan to prevent any supply disruptions,” Shaboyan said.
