It is worth sacrificing the health and the life that we give for the Homeland: Armen Charchyan (video)

ABC Media is launching a new project with Izmirlian Medical Center: 10+ questions to the doctor. The first guest on the program is orthopedist-traumatologist Armen Charchyan, the executive director of  Izmirlian Medical Center. The orthopedist answered professional and non-professional questions.

– Will artificial intelligence ever replace doctors?

– Of course not. I don’t want to give names, but in 2020, I was talking to someone quite intelligent. I said that artificial intelligence is good and can change certain things, but its weak point is that it is void of emotion. However, that person told me that work is now being done to add emotions to machines. I think, when good and evil are considered, emotion belongs to God, and number to Satan; artificial intelligence is based mainly on numbers; it is out of God’s province. Let us not interfere in God’s affairs.

– If not doctor, then…

– If not doctor, then doctor; if not doctor and again not doctor, then mathematician.

– With whom would you like to drink a cup of coffee and have an idle chat now?

– The most important conversations for me are the ones I have had with myself. At this moment, I would like to drink coffee and have an idle chat with my parents, who are gone.

– What is the latest book you read?

– I was reading two books. One was Robert Greene’s “The 48 Laws of Power”, and the other one was “The Fundamentals of Quantum Mechanics”, which is a series of lectures. On account of my work, more often I read professional literature, although I have an extensive library of works of fiction.

– If you could revive one person, who would that person be?

– If I could, I would revive Armen Yeritsyan.

– What is Homeland for you?

– The subject that we deal with is of immense value; as iron is of the utmost importance to a blacksmith, so are human life and human health to us. We give people health and life, but there are certain values for which it is worth sacrificing the health and the life that we give, and that is Homeland.
