Yerevan Municipality official arrested on charge of taking bribe

After the search in the second building of the Yerevan Municipality, an official was arrested. He has been charged with accepting a bribe. Spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia Marina Ohanjanyan said this to ABC media.

“Five people have been arrested; one of them is an official of the Yerevan Municipality,” Ohanjanyan said.

To remind, yesterday the RA Anti-Corruption Committee carried out a search in the second building of the Yerevan Municipality.

The Architecture and Urban Development Department of the municipality is located in the building.
