The Shirak regional police department of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alarm that a bomb had been planted at Gyumri Shirak International Airport and was about to go off.
Narek Sargsyan, the spokesperson for the Armenian minister of Internal Affairs, confirmed the information in a conversation with ABC Media.
Police officers and sappers are working at the scene. Circumstances are being established. In the meantime, work is underway to identify the person who gave the alarm.
