Earthquake happens 14 kilometers north of Kajaran town
At 10:52 a.m. on July 15 local time (6:52 a.m. GMT), an earthquake, measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale, happened on the Armenia-Nakhijevan border, 14 kilometers north of the town of Kajaran, the RA MIA Seismic Protection Territorial Survey says.
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers at latitude 39․27⁰ north and at longitude 46.10⁰ east.
In the epicenter, the shock registered a magnitude of 4-5.
The earthquake was felt in the towns of Agarak, Meghri, Kajaran and Kapan of Syunik Province with a magnitude of 4.
