Between January and July 2024, the birth rate in Armenia decreased by 7.6% compared to the same period in 2023. During this period, 18,632 children were born (20,157 in seven months of the previous year).
In the same period, 15,166 people died, which is 6.3% more than the indicator of the same period in 2023. According to the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the main causes of death are circulatory diseases, neoplasms and respiratory diseases.
