Three people have already died from the West Nile fever in Armenia, the Armenian Ministry of Health told Sputnik Armenia.
One person diagnosed with the disease had died earlier. “Both patients had a number of accompanying chronic diseases. They were over 80 years old,” the ministry said.
Armenian Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan told the press on Sept. 5 that 108 cases of the disease were confirmed. According to him, mosquitoes are mostly found in Armavir, Ararat and Aragatsotn provinces.
