Samvel Karapetyan: What have the authorities achieved?

Samvel Karapetyan has issued a statement through his defense team, which reads as follows:

“Part 1

The day the decision was made to take me into custody was one of the most interesting days of my life. Let me explain why. After the court decision was announced, I saw, with my own eyes, the visibly distressed state of the investigator who had obviously and coercively pressed charges against me. I also saw the desperate condition of the experienced prosecutor throughout the entire trial. And finally, I saw the judge who, during the trial, listened with what seemed to be surprise and occasional contempt to the illegal accusations and weak arguments presented by the investigator and prosecutor—apparently trying to maintain an impartial and independent demeanor. However, after spending four hours in the deliberation room, the judge ultimately showed that he was dependent and powerless.

But never mind, soon the courts will be independent.
