Russian diplomats in Baku unable to contact Russian journalists, says Zakharova

Russia is concerned that Russian diplomats in Baku have been unable to contact reporters with Russian citizenship for more than two hours, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova told TASS.

According to Zakharova, the Azerbaijani authorities are not allowing Russian diplomats to communicate with the journalists, without providing any explanation for the restriction.

The Russian side has informed Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry and security services about the situation concerning the journalists but has not received any response so far.
