Armenia’s and Azerbaijan’s foreign ministers meet in New York

On Sept. 22, 2025, during the U.N. General Assembly session in New York, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

Building on the outcomes of the Washington Peace Summit held on Aug. 8 of this year, the ministers exchanged views on possible steps to advance the peace agenda.

The ministers agreed to continue their dialogue.
