What did Pashinyan and Aliyev discuss in Copenhagen?

On Oct․ 2, 2025, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Copenhagen within the framework of the Seventh European Political Community Summit, the Government reports.

The sides emphasized the significance of the agreements reached at the Washington Peace Summit, initiated by U.S. President Donald Trump. They reaffirmed their readiness to continue working toward further strengthening peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The two leaders highlighted the benefits of regional transport connectivity, discussed progress on infrastructure development in Azerbaijani territory and the implementation of the TRIPP project in Armenian territory, and exchanged views on the implementation of the Washington declaration.

In this context, the parties welcomed the decision to unanimously discontinue the OSCE Minsk Process and the activities of all related bodies.

The sides emphasized the necessity of continuing confidence-building measures and agreed to maintain their ongoing communication.
