If you used to think Azerbaijan and Turkey had the intention to make peace with Armenia, you were mistaken. MP Levon Kocharyan from the NA Armenia Alliance made a Telegram post on this.
“If you are of the same opinion after the interview of the president of Azerbaijan, then you are simply out of touch with reality, to put it mildly. When are we going to come to the realization that negotiations with a beast cannot be possible when you have your head between its jaws?” he wrote.
The MP also noted that we need to get rid of the “authorities which have led our way into the beast’s jaws”, to re-establish the relations with the allies and to negotiate from a stronger position.
To remind, in his latest interview, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called capital Yerevan “Irevan”, and said that Jermuk is an Azerbaijani town.
