In total, 17 bridges have collapsed, Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel Sanosyan said.
“Some of them are small bridges, but there are at least five to six bridges, which are quite large ones, and it will take a lot of effort and time to restore them,” Sanosyan said at a press briefing.
According to him, the collapse has created a serious communication problem in a number of settlements.
“If solutions have been found in the case of those small communities, and there is no communication problem there, in this case, the collapse of these bridges has caused such problems,” the minister said.
