Kremlin: The content of Russia-US talks in Riyadh will not be made public

The content of the Russia-U.S. negotiations held in Riyadh will not be made public, and reports on them have been sent to Moscow and Washington, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in response to a question about whether official statements or remarks regarding the outcomes of the negotiations in Riyadh are planned.

“You know, we are already talking about technical negotiations. These are discussions that delve into details, so the content of the technical negotiations will definitely not be released; there is no need to expect that. Secondly, reports are currently being analyzed in the capital, and only after that will it be possible to speak about any understandings,” Peskov said.

According to him, there is an understanding that communications will continue, but there is still no clarity.

To remind, representatives of Russia and the U.S. met in Riyadh on March 24. The talks lasted more than 12 hours.
