Vatican publishes Pope Francis’s last speech
The Vatican has published the final speech of Pope Francis, addressed to his personal assistant, Massimiliano Strappetti. On Sunday, he took the Pope to St. Peter’s Square.
“Thank you for bringing me back to the Square,” Pope Francis said.
As reported, Strappetti once saved the Pope’s life by suggesting colon surgery. The Holy Father later appointed him in 2022 as his personal healthcare assistant.
It is also noted that the 266th leader of the Catholic Church passed away on the morning of April 21.
