A meeting between Erdoğan, Trump, Putin, and Zelenskyy could take place after talks in Istanbul, says Fidan
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan expects that after the stage of direct Russia-Ukraine negotiations in Istanbul, a meeting could be held between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, U.S. President Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Fidan also expressed hope that a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict can be achieved within a year.
“We will either allow this war to continue, or we will reach a stable peace within this year,” the Turkish minister said at a press conference in Kyiv.
