Passenger plane with 242 on board crashes in India

A London-bound passenger plane has crashed near Ahmedabad, India. According to Indiatvnews, there were 242 passengers on board the plane.

The crashed aircraft was a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner operated by Air India. It was designed to carry 300 passengers, and there were 242 on board.

Firefighters and ambulance vehicles have arrived at the scene. Rescue operations are currently underway.
