Hamas wishes to sign ceasefire to end the war

Hamas wants to sign an agreement that will bring an end to the war, Al Jazeera reports.

As noted, Hamas has stated that it is examining the ceasefire proposal offered by mediators and is seeking an agreement that would result in the end of the war and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.

A Hamas official announced that they are ready to accept any proposal that would lead to the total end of the war.

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected these conditions, stating that Israel would continue the war until its set objectives are achieved.
