Israel resuming talks with Hamas

An Israeli negotiating team is set to travel to Qatar for indirect talks with Hamas, The Times of Israel writes.

The sides are expected to negotiate the release of the hostages and a ceasefire deal.

However, in a statement released ahead of the talks, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office described a number of Hamas proposals as “unacceptable.”
