Turkey will consider any attempt to fragment Syria a threat to its national security, says Fidan
Turkey will directly intervene to stop any attempt to fragment Syria, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.
Fidan noted that Turkey would consider such attempts a direct threat to its national security and would directly intervene in the conflict.
The minister also stated that Israel wants to divide Syria to make the country unstable and weaker. He added that the Kurdish YPG militants are trying to take advantage of the chaos.
“Israel is pursuing a policy aimed at keeping the region in chaos,” Fidan noted.
