Blast at Mexican supermarket kills at least 23

At least 23 people, including children, have died and at least 11 others were injured in an explosion at a supermarket in Hermosillo, a city in northwestern Mexico, El Congresista reports.

The blast occurred at a Waldo’s store.

Authorities have stated that they are ruling out the possibility that the incident was an “attack” on civilians or related to “criminal activity.”
