No Armenian citizens among victims in Iran, Foreign Ministry spokesperson says
Amid ongoing developments in Iran, there are currently no reports of any victims being Armenian citizens, ABC Media was told by Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Ani Badalyan.
She added that the Armenian Consulate General in Aleppo, Syria, is operating normally.
“At present, round-the-clock mobile phone numbers are available. The highest volume of calls was recorded between Jan. 7 and 10,” Badalyan said.
According to the spokesperson, since most inquiries from citizens relate to consular services, starting Jan. 13 the consulate will also handle calls via city phone numbers, which have been published on social media platforms.
