The U.S. and U.K. armed forces have carried out strikes on the targets of the rebel movement Ansar Allah (the Houthi movement) in Yemen overnight into Friday, TASS reports.
Strikes were made on the sites of Houthi missiles, drones and radar stations. Victims have not been reported.
The Houthis have stated they will take retaliatory actions if the U.S. and the U.K. make airstrikes on Yemen.
The media reports explosions have thundered in the cities of Sanaa, Saada, Al-Hudaydah, Taiz and Dhamar.
Sanaa International Airport has also come under bombardment.
