US and UK strike Houthi targets in Yemen
The U.S. and the U.K. made a new round of strikes on the Houthi targets in Yemen, Houthi-owned Al Masirah TV channel reports.
Al-Jabban district of the city of Hodeidah, Yemen’s principal port on the Red Sea, came under attack.
The Houthis announced on Jan. 31 that the U.S. and the U.K. had made strikes on the administrative center of Saada Governorate. According to a statement from the U.S. Central Command, in the Houthi-controlled territory, the military shot down a “surface-to-air” missile, which “posed a direct threat to the U.S. aircraft”.
