Earthquake 5.6 strikes Iran

An earthquake, measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale, occurred in the southeast of Iran. 

The earthquake happened at 8:20 a.m. The epicenter was 117 kilometers west of Iranshahr city.

Considering the intensity of tremors at the epicenter, the seismic event is assessed as “severe”.
