Thirty-four countries supporting the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), including Armenia, issued a joint statement calling for respect for the U.N. peacekeeping mission and to ensure the safety of its personnel, Poland in the UN X account said in a post.<\/p>\n
The signatories reaffirmed their support for the UNIFIL mission to bring stability and peace to southern Lebanon.<\/p>\n
A joint statement initiated by Poland condemned incidents of attacks on peacekeepers, noting that such actions should be stopped immediately and be adequately investigated.<\/p>\n
