1.We believe that peace firstly implies the possibility and
\nexistence of economic, cultural and political ties between peoples; and
\nobviously, these ties cannot exist without transport links.

2. Armenia expresses readiness to establish-restore rail
\ncommunication between Armenia and Azerbaijan, between the previously existing
\nrailways. The first one is the Northern route, connecting Ghazakh District of
\nAzerbaijan to Tavush Province of Armenia. The second one is the Southern route,
\nconnecting the western regions of Azerbaijan to Nakhijevan. Moreover, we
\nbelieve that the western regions of Azerbaijan can also be connected to
\nNakhijevan through the Northern route.
<\/p><\/p>\n
3. Next come highways, which can follow North, Middle and
\nSouth routes, opening up new opportunities for the region.
<\/p><\/p>\n
4. We show the same readiness for the opening of the railway
\nand the two highways between Armenia and Turkey.
<\/p><\/p>\n
5. The “Crossroads of Peace” project can also be useful for
\nthe construction of power lines, cables and gas pipelines.
<\/p><\/p>\n
6. All of this will be possible when peace is established
\nbetween Armenia and Azerbaijan.
<\/p><\/p>\n\n
7. If Azerbaijan does not go back on the tripartite agreements
\nof May 14 and July 15, the conclusion of a peace treaty with Azerbaijan in the
\nnear future will become truly realistic.
