Full-scale military operations broke out in Israel in the
\nmorning. Palestine has been firing rockets not only at military infrastructure
\nbut also at civilian ones. The Hamas militants hit a parking lot, infiltrated
\ninto the territory of Israel, hit tanks and captured people. Israel, in turn,
\nhas been carrying out strikes on Palestine.<\/p>\n
Arabist Gor Gevorgyan told ABC Media that the full-scale
\nmilitary operations may drag on, but we had better not make predictions now.<\/p>\n
“The Israeli side has already announced that the country is
\nat war, given the depth of military operations carried out from the Gaza Strip.
\nThe situation is rather dangerous in that a new military situation has
\ndeveloped in the region, which may even persist. However, we had better not
\nleap to hasty conclusions at the moment. We just need to understand that
\nArmenia is part of the Middle East region,” the Arabist noted.<\/p>\n
According to Gevorgyan, we should not forget the very fact
\nthat Israel is the ally of our enemy, Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n
“Giving thought to what happened in Artsakh, to the
\nUkrainian conflict, and to the events now unfolding in Palestine, we will
\nrealize that the region finds itself in the flames of a new war,” Gevorgyan
\nconcluded.
