The decades-long conflict was settled in favor of

“We proposed to return five regions and maintain control
\nover the other two regions so that an unhindered connection between Armenia and
\nArtsakh would be ensured. And we were offering appropriate security guarantees.
\nHowever, the Artsakh side did not agree to this, saying that the plan incurred
\nrisks and that they were ready to fight,” Putin said.

He already openly calls Artsakh the territory of Azerbaijan.
\nMoreover, he clearly advances the Azerbaijani propaganda thesis for the first
\ntime in these years.
