Everyone was facing uncertainty in Artsakh throughout the
\nblockade, during the war and after the explosion. What was coming next, what
\nwas to be done, and how? In those days, people knew their job perfectly well:
\nsoldiers along the border and doctors in hospitals. In poor conditions, without
\nsufficient supplies of fuel and medicines, when communication with Armenia was
\nbroken down, doctors in Artsakh did their best to save as many lives as
\npossible. “Their wish was to live, ours was to save lives,” Marat Harutyunyan,
\na doctor from Artsakh says.
