Representatives of the relevant departments of Armenia and Turkey will meet soon to assess the conditions for the resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway, Ruben Rubinyan, special envoy from Armenia for normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations and vice president of the Armenian National Assembly, told Azatutyun<\/a>. According to him, however, the day of the meeting has not been set yet.<\/p>\n

“As we have done in the past, for example, a joint study on the Margara bridge, representatives of interdepartmental groups of Armenia and Turkey will soon meet for such a study in order to implement this agreement, I mean to assess the conditions necessary for the resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway,” Rubinyan said.<\/p>\n
