Baku has its eyes on the territories of the Islamic Republic of Iran as well. It regularly pushes forward the “South Azerbaijan” thesis by NGOs, checking sentiments and acting in parallel. Quite close to the border with Iran, in the occupied territories of Artsakh, two international civilian airports have been built, and the construction of the third one is underway.<\/p>\n
