Following the victory of former President Donald Trump in the U.S. presidential elections, China announced it will work with the U.S. on the basis of mutual respect, Reuters<\/a> writes.<\/p>\n

“Our policy towards the U.S. is consistent. We will continue to view and handle China-U.S. relations in accordance with the principles of mutual respect, peaceful co-existence and win-win cooperation,” Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning said in a regular press conference in Beijing, when asked how Trump returning to the Oval Office would affect the U.S.-China relations.<\/p>\n
