Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said an invitation has been sent to Armenia to participate in COP29, which has started in Baku.<\/p>\n
“The decision to participate or not is up to Armenia,” Aliyev said during a meeting with the Finnish President Alexander Stubb.<\/p>\n
Next year, Finland will assume the role of the OSCE’s chairmanship. Stubb noted that the 50th anniversary of the Helsinki Final Act will be commemorated.<\/p>\n
Noting that his country supports the peace agenda between Armenia and Azerbaijan, the Finnish president inquired about the status of this agenda.<\/p>\n
