Former Foreign Minister of Artsakh and Adviser to the
\nPresident Davit Babayan has been remanded in custody for four months. As stated
\nby the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, Babayan has been charged with
\nmore than 10 articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.

He is charged with “waging aggressive war, recruiting and
\ntraining mercenaries, violating international humanitarian law during an armed
\nconflict, inaction or giving criminal orders, planning terrorist activities,
\nstirring up interethnic animosity” and many other articles.

Besides Babayan, Former Commander of the Defense Army of
\nArtsakh, Lt. Gen. Levon Mnatsakanyan is held on remand as well. He has been
\ncharged with Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. Mnatsakanyan was
\narrested yesterday in the Lachin corridor.
